The quaint community of Naramata is located on the east shore of Okanagan Lake. Renowned for it’s award winning wines, the Naramata Bench is a photographers dream with rolling vineyards that stretch along Lake Okanagan and beyond.
The beautiful sandy beaches provide great freshwater swimming and boating in summer. Lakefront cabins and quaint lakeside cottages are ideal for family holidays in the Okanagan.
Nearby the Kettle Valley Trail is great for hiking and particularly cycling. It starts in Penticton and is an incredibly scenic trail that meanders through the vineyards, orchards, across the McCullough Trestle.
With over 40 wineries within a 20 minute drive, you’ll find plenty of terroir to swirl, sip and savour. The Naramata Bench is home to some of most highly acclaimed Okanagan wineries to visit, each in a beautiful setting, each offering a selection of award -winning Naramata Bench wines. As well, you’ll find a number of unique distilleries, cideries and breweries.
