Atmosphere and decor is phenomenal. Absolutely gorgeous restaurant and grounds. Service could be faster and food, while tasty and unique, isn’t anything sensational. Prices are high, but not unexpected for a place like this.

Four of us had dinner here 2 days ago and had a wonderful experience. The ambience is outstanding with a great view of the vineyards and lake. The noise level is comfortable so that you can communicate easily. The service was outstanding but more importantly all the food was excellent:- appetisers of burrata, grilled peppers and kale, octopus and main courses of duck, halibut ans cornish game hen. Finally the blueberry and cherry desserts were well done.

Fantastic views! Even our service was fairly good, although it seemed as the night went on our waitress become more and more overwhelmed and we waited 10-15min for drinks a couple of times. However, the reason for the poor rating was the food quality. The octopus was extremely rubbery, which means it was not cooked correctly. I thought a place like this would be able to cook it great, but octopus is difficult. Also, my Ribeye was way overcooked (ordered medium, came extra well done). They refired my meal and the second round was 6/10 at best (although, steak was cooked correctly). There was nothing offered as an apology even though I sat there for 20-25 min as my wife finished her meal. We left thinking it was beautiful, but not worthy of a return. Too many other fantastic places to eat in the area… try Home Block at Cedar Creek Winery 10/10.

Fantastic experience!!! The sourdough bread was absolutely amazing! My mother and I ordered the tomato risotto and were not disappointed; the flavours were perfect. The steak was perfectly cooked and had brilliant flavours. We had two desserts, the peach one and the chocolate one, both were absolutely fantastic. Service was great. Overall the experience was absolutely amazing

Absolutely amazing food. Great view of the vineyards and the lake from the patio. The deserts are beautifully presented and tasted delicious! The service was accommodating and friendly, great experience, and definitely will come back again.
