Jackson Triggs
Jackson-Triggs Okanagan sources grapes from some of the most beautiful vineyards in BC
3 Reviews

Surrounded in almost every direction by lakes, mountains, vineyards, and desert to the far south, the Jackson-Triggs Okanagan Estate vineyard covers 410 acres of some of the most rugged beauty found in British Columbia.
Jackson-Triggs Okanagan sources grapes from some of the most beautiful vineyards found in British Columbia, many of which have been leased from the Osoyoos Indian Band since 1998. These vineyards get plenty of sunlight thanks to the southwesterly exposure they enjoy along the striking mountain slopes stretching above Osoyoos Lake. High heat during the day is balanced by the nighttime cooling effect of the lake, providing optimum conditions for vine growth and grape ripening.

Aside from our prestigious SunRock Vineyard, two of our best vineyards are Bull Pine and Bear Cub. The Bull Pine Estate Vineyard is 240 acres and planted with grapes that create our award-winning reds: Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as the white varieties: Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. The Bear Cub site, covering 186 acres, grows the same award-winning varietals as Bull Pine as well as our well-noted Shiraz grapes.

Visitors to the Jackson-Triggs Okanagan Estate’s Tasting Gallery, or intimate groups of up to 20, get a rare glimpse into the complete wine tasting experience including unique varietals and limited edition wines only found at the winery. Alternately, you can enjoy this same experience on our outdoor patio.

Best wine experience with food pairing with exceptional chef and wine knowledge Steve Ward

We went to Jackson Triggs Winery three times this week to experience different wine and food pairings with very knowledgeable Steve Ward. Steve took the mystery out of wine and food pairings and demonstrated how it all works to enhance the flavour of the wine. He truly made our wine tasting most memorable! Can’t wait to go back again next year. Thank you Steve.

    “Upscale” but personable winery
I stopped at the Jackson-Triggs winery because my wife and I like their wine. I paid the $2 tasting fee and purchased a few bottles that are only available at this location. I was a bit surprised that the tasting fee was not waved when you purchased a bottle.

The hostess was awesome. Even though it was a large commercial “upscale” feel the hostess made it feel down home. As if she was sharing wine with me in her livingroom.

Expect a minimum of $20 per bottle at this location.

    Like their new place
6 years ago , we made a tour/tasting of icewine at Inniskillin and since they are now in the same building of Jackson Triggs, we stopped by to taste some wines. Fees is $2 for 4 wines and $10 for 4 ice wines. Since I read it on previous review, I was not surprised that they do not waive fees when you buy some bottles and the tasting fees are not going to a foundation like some others wineries. We bought the Jackson Triggs Sunrock Meritage and a bottle of Riesling ice wine. We also bought Inniskillin tempranillo icewine 2012- this one is available only at the winery and will probably be the last vintage produced. The lady who served us was very knowledgeable and friendly . Even if it’s not advertised on their web site, we noticed that they do offer tours/ tastings for extra $$$. Even if it’s a large corporation, we don’t feel it, it is very intimate and friendly. Outside there is a patio maybe for picnic.
